    Hi Nancy,
    Don’t worry, we won’t publish your last name. To reach the higher apples you will need a high ladder to reach those apples. Be very careful when climbing the ladder and make sure it is firmly planted in the ground. Do not climb the trees as it can hurt the bark and branches. It is best for someone to hold the ladder for you at the bottom, and don’t ever use the top or the top step. The pests are an inevitable occurrence in organic apples. If you bring us some of your apples we can look at them and probably guess what variety they are and what kind of pest you may have. I hope this helps!
